Speaking of facts, I know I'd like to see some facts on who's really using the most welfare. Does anybody have the stats AND NOT opinion atricles or reports?

As I've stated on post# 1.2, it only makes sense that the anglos are now the majority users of welfare these days. That tornado in Joby didn't just tear up a hospital, it tore up a whole town. The floods in the Dakotas, How 'bout the feezeand snowstorms last winter that capt. dumbass Glenn Beck stated was proof that Global Warming wasn't happening? Despite the fact that it's global warming up north that sent the storms down to the NE U.S.

Anyway, I personally would like to see the actual stats on who the "bad people" are. Seeing as how, for some odd reason, people on welfare are seen as bad people. At least in this column.

There are approximately 250,000,000 whites in the U.S. and 40,000,000 blacks, which means:

97,000,000 whites are on welfare

and

15,920,000 blacks are on welfare

Not that it matters. There should be a safety-net for all who need it.

If you're talking to me, may I suggest you do the same. The above % are who are on welfare as a whole, NOT what % of a certain race are on welfare. First, you would need to know the total number of who are on welfare THEN you can come up with the numbers of race X; but without the total number, you cannot. Your numbers are in error.

Your numbers are very misleading at first sight, but if you had not been so much of a hurry to post them to try to play some game you'd have caught it.

Folks, it's not what % of race X are on welfare, but rather what % (out of a 100) of those on welfare belong to race X. Again, if you break it down to per capita it's not even close.

The post #1 clearly DOES show what percentage of welfare users are of a certain race. So your math is NOT wrong. Not even per capita.

^^^ Yeah, you're right. derailing is a big tactic on a debate forum. But yeah, as long as we still keep an eye on the actual subject, you can't be fooled by however many derailment attempts happen. :)

The stats, by the way come from some Obama haters that try to spread this knowledge to derive more hate.

But even if it hadn't come from haters and the stats are completely, historically true, the fact that we've had a gulf oil spill disaster, an artic freeze, tornados, and floods, some in various places where it wasn't likely to happen, levies not capable of holding back the gulf waters anymore, extreme heat and drought making it harder to put out those fires in the west.....

That's a lot of people who've lost thier homes. Again just off the natural disasters. Of course there's going to be more and more white americans on welfare these days. So yeah, the TP "bowel" Movement, the CONservatives, the Repugs, and every speaker for them, whether on radio(rush slimeball) or at conventions(witchcraft bachmann) are all wrong in saying the non-whites are all on welfare. :)

No I dont think they should pledge anything ,they should make decisions based on the issues. Yes the 12 % of the population was running things in Wisconsin through the buying of legislators. Just as FDR said there is no place for unions in government employment.

You obviously have never experienced first hand the negative effects union rules can have. I saw it for the first time while still in college ,applying for a summer job in Wisconsin. The company advertised in april for summer help. We went to fill out app. they told us it was for the following summer 15 months away, Why? Because they said it would take that long to advertise the job to the union members , give them first dibs then backfill all their jobs, the job was outside maintenance. The union guys wanted to work outdoors in the late spring but then move back inside when the heat and humidity started up so the consequence was you had summer college kids with a day's training doing the jobs of the "highly skilled and trained" union members. Well at least the reject rate of defects went down when the college kids were working those jobs!

I know, I just don't quite get it how any average middle class person can be against unions. There wouldn't even be a middle class if it weren't for the brave men and women who joined together and stood up to the abusive practices of most of the mining and manufacturing companies at the turn of the 20th century.

They paved the way for so many of the things we take for granted. Like the ones you pointed out.

Bob That's a story manny can tell I hire kids for the grocery store that I manage all the time.I tell every young man and young lady I'm not hiring right now check back with me later.the ones that truly want a job will come back they don't accept NO as an answer they follow up and come back.I wonder if the the kids that I did not hire hate grocery stores.I know the ones that came back got a chance to receive there first paycheck.

There is at least on Tea Party member of congress that qualifies as a dead beat dad, and he's not black! Go figure, he's white, and a tea party politician!!
