I can honestly say, I just read your bio and I cried. It is so beautiful & your parents are heroes. Enjoyed your article: "GOP Blames the Unemployed for Unemployment... Then Blocks Benefits."
Been away from the 'vine' about 6 months. Needed to take a break away from politics. Take care & continue the great job that you do.
Hi Bart,
Howthebloodyhellareya?
;)— Abby.
Thank you Robert, for your input to my article. I appreciate it greatly, from one Bartholomew to another.
I never thought I knew it all,but I know most people know right from wrong and when more wrongdoing is taking over this country I can't shut up because it bothers me to see so many people hurt and their dreams get washed out by the trusted leader less officials we have had for quite some time now. It takes a lot of time to chip away at a mountain of a country we once had and now the top of it is just about blown off. Thanks for the invite!
Dear Robert,
Currently, I am in the Greenhouse. So obviously, I'm just getting started. Reading your biography was inspiring. It's easy to admire your parents and I sincerely hope that there are others out there with that same passion.
I think about the diluting of parenthood in our nation with so many babies having babies. I can only pray that they manage to do a fraction of the quality job your folks achieved.
Peace
Citizen Ira
A belated thank you for your invite, Mr. B.
Your columns are always a pleasure to read and your bio is wonderful.
You are the first person that I've added to my watch list!
Thank you for accepting my friend request Robert.
I really enjoy reading all your seeds and articles. Again, many thanks Robert.
Thank You Robert,
for both the invite and your good reads.

And you are fortunate to have them in your life.

Robert,
In case I don't get the opportunity, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Peaceful New Year that brings you much joy. It's a pleasure knowing you and reading your many articles.I've read your comments that people have left about your parents but can't find where you wrote about them. When you get the opportunity, could you lead me to the article, if it was an article.
Here's hoping the man we put so much faith in on election day '08 comes through with shining colors and makes us proud. It could happen.......

Thank you Mr. Robert for the warm request. Newsvine is turning out just like I thought it would : }
Robert Bartholomew,
If there were an award given to those who seed noteworthy articles to Newsvine, I would certainly nominate you and you would deserve to win. You consistently seed timely, important, and informative articles for us. Your moderate perspective is invaluable. Thank you!
Robert, Kudos to you for the "How to debate a conservative" piece. Made my day. Would have read some comments to my husband but I have to cook for the holidays and need both arms... just kidding.

Thank you for the invitation. I may not participate often but I read through the Vine everyday as an addenda to the papers and other media. Always good to read what people are discussing and thinking.
Pleasure to meet you Robert. My mom voted for Nixon also. I asked her once how she could claim to be a real Republican when she seems to hate them all... and GW Bush as one of the most hated in our house.... well her reaction was "I voted for Nixon and did not like Kennedy"
She did weep at his death ... as I am sure many did. Was not born until 67.I am a Liberal with a conservative hook... sometimes.
Thank you for sending me an invite. I'd like to let you know that I always enjoy reading your columns.
Love your stuff. I only hope to seed enough articles to finally get the attention that you do.
Anyway, I found a great article that I seeded that I thought you might like. Feel free to seed it. I thought it might actually get DanaR, Waynester, JayB, Bubba and some of the other GOP nuts to stutter a bit. I am not sure how they could actually defend this one.

Cheers,

You have a sharp mind, my new friend. I dig that.
— Joseph.
Absolutely loved reading your life commentary in the bio section. Thanks for the friend-add. I was born on Good Friday, but there was no eclipse, and I dont think I had any exciting things happen because of the "omen," either.
What did I do to garner your attention for the friend-add?
Good day!
Hello Robert. I too enjoyed reading about your parents and yourself. I appreciate all of the interesting articles you have seeded. It takes a lot of work seeding and moderating articles. Thanks.
